Introduction 

         The College of Agriculture was founded in the year 1982 and renamed The College of Agriculture and Health in August 2022. It holds the Animal Science and Biotechnology Department, the Food Science Department, the Hospitality Management Department, and the Bachelor of Science in Senior Wellness and Sports Science Department together. All of the departments not only offer master’s degree programs but also provide and share slots of the doctoral program of the Animal Science and Biotechnology Department.  

       In 2022, there are more than 1200 undergraduates, 135 M.S., and 6 Ph.D. students enrolled in the College of Agriculture. Besides, we recruit more than 50 scholars with doctoral degrees as faculty members.

     The College of Agriculture and Health provides credit programs for biotechnology; we also have the Agricultural Extension Center and Farming areas for students to work as interns. Each department in the college has its core facilities including a dairy farm in the Department of Animal Science and Biotechnology, a food processing pilot plant and food analysis laboratory in the Department of Food Science, and a culinary classroom the Department of Hospitality Management. The College of Agriculture and Health is one of the reputable applied science-related knowledge providers in Taiwan. We hope to solve problems and to build fundamental knowledge for advanced studies in agriculture, food systems, and hospitality management. We have cooperators in academic and industrial institutions both in Taiwan and from abroad, not only to provide internship and working opportunities in such a competitive working environment but also to connect investors around the world.
